At 3:10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (07:10 GMT), the first of two launches that were planned to take place for SpaceXon Monday, a Falcon 9rocket that was topped with 52 Starlinkspacecraft successfully took off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. This launch was the first of two that were slated to take place.
Around 8.5 minutes after liftoff, the first stage of the Falcon 9 returned to Earthfor a precision landing on the SpaceX drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas, which was stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. This touchdown took place approximately 8.5 minutes after liftoff.
This particular rocket was able to accomplish its ninth launch and landing mission without any problems, as stated in the mission descriptionthat was provided by SpaceX.
Approximately sixty-five minutes following liftoff, the upper stage of the rocket will continue to transport the 52 Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit, at which point it will ultimately release them.

According to Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer and satellite tracker, SpaceX has successfully launched more than 4,500 Starlink satellites up until this point, and roughly 4,200 of those satellites are active at the present time.
However, the Starlink mega constellation is not even close to being finished. SpaceX has been granted permission to deploy 12,000 broadband satellites, and the company has also submitted an application for authorization to deploy a further 30,000 satellites.
The launch of Starlink in the wee hours of the morning was the first of two missions scheduled for the Falcon 9 rocket on Monday.
At the same time, SpaceX intends to launch the Transporter-8 rideshare mission from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 5:19 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (2119 GMT). A wide array of clients will benefit from Transporter 8's ability to launch 72 satellites into orbit.
