One Piece is the first show that Netflix is showing.
The streamer said on Sunday that the famous manga will be turned into a new anime series. The news came at Jump Festa 2024, a popular manga and anime convention. The series is currently being made and is called "The One Piece." No date for release has been given yet.
Along with Shueisha, Fuji Television Network, and Toei Animation Co., WIT Studio will make the show. WIT Studio is known for making hit shows like SPY x FAMILY and Attack on Titan.
"The committee aims to provide viewers with a fresh yet familiar experience, utilizing cutting-edge visual technology to reimagine Luffy's adventure through the beloved East Blue Saga,"the One Piece press release statement reads. It will be "distinct" from the ongoing TV anime series that has been running for more than twenty years.
Because of Oda's amazing message to the fans at Jump Festa 2024 and other things to be very happy about, One Piece has had a really great year. Fans had been waiting for those texts and thought they would be the most exciting thing at the Jump Festa stage. But when a new anime project was announced, everyone was shocked.
One Piece is based on Eiichiro Oda's manga series of the same name. It tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his pirate crew as they look for the ultimate treasure called "One Piece" to become the next Pirate King.
In other news on Sunday, Netflix said it would adapt another book by Oda called Monsters 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation.
Oda made the series when he was only 19. The new anime, which will start airing in January, is the first adaptation of the series. The show is about Ryuma, a warrior who gets caught up in a world that is being messed up by a scary force: a dragon that can do terrible things to the land. The company that makes Monsters 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation is E&H production.
The new projects with Oda come after Netflix's successful live-action version of One Piece, which has already been picked up for a second season. People liked the show in both the U.S. and other countries. This was a big win for Netflix in the live-action anime department.
Fans don't know when the version of "One Piece" will air right now. It's most likely going to be in 2025, which should make fans all over the world very happy. A good anime version will need a few months of preproduction. This will give the people working on it plenty of time to relax and do their best work. Anime fans can look forward to this movie coming out early in 2025 or maybe very, very late in 2024. This is just a guess, though, based on how anime versions usually work.

Final Words

At the end of the Jump Festa 2024 One Piece special stage, WIT STUDIO announced that they would be making a new version of the anime series. For the 25th anniversary of the anime series, WIT is making a brand-new animated series called THE ONE PIECE that will pick up where the original series left off in the East Blue arc.
One Piece tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy, a pirate with rubber legs, and his crew, the Straw Hats. Since the late 1990s, both the manga and the original anime shows have been going strong.
