Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, 'no cease-fire without hostage release', and he has also addressed Gaza's post-war destiny.
President Joe Biden and other administration officials have been putting pressure on Israel to let more supplies into Gaza and more people to flee the conflict in the Palestinian territory.
Following a phone conference between the leaders, the White House said that there was no apparent consensus on Biden's proposal for a larger humanitarian halt.

Netanyahu Refused Ceasefire

Netanyahu went on to say that it would stymie the war effort and efforts to free our prisoners because "the only thing that works on these criminals in Hamas is the military pressure that we're applying." He also said that if Hamas consented to the release of captives, there would be a cease-fire.
More than 10,000 people have been murdered in Gaza during the month-long battle, including 4,104 children. More than 1,400 people have died and 6,900 have been wounded in Israel.
The Biden administration has been treading a diplomatic tightrope as it maintains Israel's right to self-defense against Hamas while simultaneously attempting to prevent civilian casualties and planning for a post-conflict future for Palestinians.

Israel Casualities

Approximately 1,400 Israeli citizens were murdered during the October 7 Hamas assault, with 30 Israeli military killed in Gaza since the ground battle started. According to the IDF, 30 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Gaza since the ground incursion started.
An Israeli attack in southern Gaza demolished numerous houses, killing at least five individuals, including three children. Israel has threatened to depose Hamas and destroy its military capabilities, but neither Israel nor its key supporter, the United States, has specified what would happen next.
Israel has promised to keep control over Gaza indefinitely, but neither Israel nor its key backer, the United States, has specified what form that security control will take.
Israel's forces are concentrating on northern Gaza, particularly Gaza City, which had a population of roughly 650,000 people before the war started. Israel alleges that Hamas maintains a large terrorist infrastructure in residential areas and that it utilizes citizens as human shields.
Hundreds of thousands of civilians are estimated to be still in the attack's route in the north, while tens of thousands of Israelis have fled areas along the borders with Gaza and Lebanon.
Well, there'll be no cease-fire, general cease-fire, in Gaza without the release of our hostages. As far as tactical little pauses, an hour here, an hour there. We've had them before, I suppose, will check the circumstances in order to enable goods, humanitarian goods to come in, or our hostages, individual hostages to leave. But I don't think there's going to be a general cease-fire.- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Israel Want Gaza Control

Israel has promised to depose Hamas and destroy its military capabilities, but neither Israel nor its key backer, the United States, has laid out a clear strategy for the future. Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Netanyahu suggested that those who disapprove of Hamas' actions run Gaza.
Netanyahu also emphasized that Israel would have ultimate security responsibility indefinitely, since without it, Hamas might unleash unfathomable horror.
I think Israel will, for an indefinite period, will have the overall security responsibility because we’ve seen what happens when we don’t have it. When we don’t have that security responsibility, what we have is the eruption of Hamas terror on a scale that we couldn’t imagine.- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
The United States has warned against re-occupying Gaza, despite the fact that Israel withdrew its soldiers and settlers in 2005 but retained authority over Gaza's airspace, coastline, population registration, and border crossings.
In 2007, Hamas took control, restricting his Palestinian Authority to portions of the occupied West Bank. In the 1967 Mideast war, Israel took Gaza, the West Bank, and east Jerusalem, and annexed east Jerusalem, a decision that was widely condemned by the international world.

Final Words

The conflict has heightened tensions along the border, with Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah terrorist organization exchanging fire.
Since the beginning of the conflict, more than 160 Palestinians have been murdered in the West Bank, mostly during violent rallies and gunfights with Israeli soldiers conducting arrest raids.
