2020 was not going to be our year. It might be anyone's year. And it is, without a doubt, the greatest understatement of the year 2020.
However, the wonderful television with which we were able to divert ourselves was a very welcome silver lining during a year of gloom. Even in the midst of a pandemic, there were unmissable debut TV series-from Normal People to I May Destroy You-that dominated conversations, provided a safe haven of gripping stories we could lose ourselves in, and introduced us to some of our favorite actors, such as Paul Mescal, Daisy Edgar Jones, and Weruche Opia.
Because of the Covid-19 epidemic last year, a number of planned TV shows were put back, and practically every studio project was postponed. However, when shooting on several of the postponed projects gradually began, it became apparent that we have a huge number of excellent TV programs to look forward to, even if some may take a bit longer than anticipated.
Here are the TV programs that you won't want to miss in 2021 and beyond, as well as a reminder of the great shows that have previously aired.

Sweet Tooth

You've had it with pandemic tales; the idea of humanity being wiped out by a virus no longer appeals to you as a post-apocalyptic concept. Totally reasonable.
Sweet Tooth, a Netflix adaptation of a Jeff Lemire comic book that has a viral apocalypse as well as adorable human-animal hybrids and Will Forte, is a more palatable version of it.
