Rockstar initially scheduled the trailer to be released much later. Many people have said that if that were the case, the views would have been even higher. But even with the leaks and early release, it managed to get 3 Guinness World Records.

2023 has also been the year for artificial intelligence. The world saw the applications and implications of Generative AI through things like ChatGPT and Midjourney AI. Speaking of Midjourney, the picture of the Pope in a coat caused quite a ruckus online.
When the picture first circulated from Reddit, many users thought it was an actual image of His Excellency in traditional formal attire. But soon after everyone learned that it was a generated image made using Midjourney.
While it wasn’t anything offensive and taken humorously, it was an eye-opener for a lot of people to the dangers and implications of AI technology.
King Charles III's Coronation
This year also marked the end of Queen Elizabeth’s reign and saw the start of something new. King Charles III was coronated back in May, marking a new era in the British Royal Family. It was quite a festive event, with people all across the UK tuning in to see the crowning of their new King and Queen. They even held a second coronation for the Scots.
With King Charles as the current King of England, the next in line for the throne would be Prince William, followed by his children. However, there’s no telling when that might happen. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.

One of the biggest events to happen this year was when Twitter was rebranded as X. Elon Musk got hold of Twitter back in 2022 when he bought the company for $44 billion. Since then, he has made some big moves for the “betterment” of the company.
The first of these is the mass firing of Twitter employees. According to Musk, you don’t need that many employees to run a platform like Twitter. That’s why he proceeded to fire all of those employees which led him to be faced with controversy regarding this decision.
He also changed the logo and put a huge X on top of the headquarters. This was his way of signaling the world for the start of a new era where he planned to build an “everything app”.
That’s even the juiciest news. In the midst of all this controversy, a lot of brands pulled out of advertising from X. In response to this, Musk had a lot of negative things to say, but he did not hold back on the profanity.
