Former GOP Rep. Heather Wilson raised $452,000 in the Second Quarter for her campaign for U.S. Senate, staying competitive with Democratic Rep. Martin Heinrich, who raised $485,000.
According to Wilson’s campaign, she finished the quarter with $604,000 in cash on hand, compared with Heinrich’s $709,000.
State Auditor Hector Balderas, who is challenging Heinrich in the Democratic primary, raised $400,000 this quarter (abbreviated because he entered the race in late April) with $370,000 cash on hand.
Republican Lt. Gov John Sanchez hasn’t released his numbers nor are they on the FEC website yet.
