The Michigan Senate voted on Tuesday to repeal the state law requiring those who ride motorcycles to wear a helmet while doing so. The vote was 25-14. The bill now moves to the House for consideration

The Michigan Senate votedon Tuesday to repeal the state law requiring those who ride motorcycles to wear a helmet while doing so. The vote was 25-14. The bill now moves to the House for consideration.
This could be the third time the state legislature has voted to repeal the helmet law. Gov. Granholm vetoed the repeal twice during her 8 years in office. Gov. Snyder has not indicated whether he would sign or veto the bill if it passes the House this time.
