Prince Harry tells Anderson Cooper why he wants to stay on the spotlightand how the British royal family is falling apart. He sat down with Anderson Cooper for an interview on "60 Minutes."
CBS called it Prince Harry's "first U.S. television interview to talk about his upcoming memoir "Spare" and talk about his childhood, the death of his mother, and his life as the Duke of Sussex living in the UK and now in America."
In a clip that came out Monday, Cooper asked Prince Harry about the criticism he and his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, were getting for stepping back from their royal duties but talking publicly about what made them do it.

Prince Harry said he's tried to keep his talks with the British royal family private, but he's had to go public with his concerns because of stories in the tabloids.
In a clip that came out on Monday, Cooper asked Prince Harry about the criticism he and his wife, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, were getting for stepping back from their royal duties and talking publicly about what made them do it. The second son of King Charles said again that he tried to talk about the problem in private.

The couple has been in the news a lot lately because of "Harry & Meghan," a docuseries on Netflix that came out last month. In it, they told stories about how they met and how they felt about how the media and their families had treated them.
In an upcoming interview with British network ITV, Prince Harry is expected to talk more about his life inside and outside of the Royal Family. He has said,

In a clip from the interview that came out Monday as a sneak peek, the Duke of Sussex said, “They’ve shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile,” He was probably talking about the Royal Family.

Prince Harry told reporter Tom Bradby in the interview clip that will be shown on ITV1 on Sunday, January 8. Also, Prince Harry told Anderson Cooper that he doesn't see himself ever going back to his old job in the royal family. Cooper, who is 55 years old, asked Harry in a clip that 60 Minutes posted on Twitter on Monday.

"No," said Prince Harry. As Harry and the 18-time Emmy Award-winning journalist continued to talk on camera, a voiceover said that the "revealing" special will air on CBS on Sunday and be available to stream on Paramount+.
Prince Harry's upcoming talk with Cooper will be his first interview on U.S. television to talk about Spare, his highly anticipated memoir coming out on Jan. 10. Harry did two interviews to promote the book.
The one with Anderson Cooper 360 is one of them. The publisher, Penguin Random House, has said that the book will be about grief, love, and healing.
ITV and CBS both shared snippets of their upcoming interviews with Prince Harry on social media on Monday. Harry talks about his and Meghan's decision to step down as senior working royals, why he thinks "silence is betrayal," and what he thinks about making peace with his father King Charles, and brother Prince William.
In another part of the ITV interview, Prince Harry said, "they feel as though it is better to keep us somehow as the villains,"and "they have shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile,"It's not clear who he was talking about.
In a part of his interview with 60 Minutes, Prince Harry talked more about how negative stories about him and Meghan have affected them. He also explained to Cooper why he is talking about these things in public.
