When you consider the greatest Christmas movies of all time, you're undoubtedly filled with warm memories. But sometimes you simply need a good chuckle and that's not the emotion you're looking for. While traditional Christmas movies provide comfort and romantic Christmas movies provide thrills, hilarious Christmas movies outshine them all.
Nothing beats seeing the Christmas dinner fall apart, the family at odds, the gifts being trashed, and the tree being knocked down, only to have everyone laugh it off and move on. There isn't another catharsis like that.

Operation Christmas Drop 2020

Martin Wood directs Operation Christmas Drop, a 2020 American Christmas romantic comedy film based on a script by Gregg Rossen and Brian Sawyer. The film stars Kat Graham and Alexander Ludwig and is based on the real-life US Air Force humanitarian effort Operation Christmas Drop.

Holidate 2020

Sloane Benson (Emma Roberts) is a young lady living in Chicago who despises the holidays because of her family's disapproval of her being unmarried. Her mother Elaine (Frances Fisher), who just split up with her fiancé, is continually attempting to hook her up with a new partner, much to Sloane's chagrin.
Sloane is now the only single member in the family when her younger brother, York (Jake Manley), gets engaged to his three-month-long girlfriend, Liz (Cynthy Wu). Meanwhile, Jackson (Luke Bracey), a young Australian golfer, is trapped spending the holidays with a lady he has no interest in dating and her family in Evanston, Illinois.
His date grows enraged with him later that night for not purchasing her a Christmas gift, and he departs frustrated. When they are both returning gifts they got after Christmas, they happen to cross paths.
After Sloane tells him about her Aunt Susan (Kristin Chenoweth), who brings a new date to every holiday gathering, which she refers to as a "holidate," Jackson recommends they be each other's to avoid relationships and sympathy from Sloane's family.
Despite her initial reluctance, Jane accepts Jackson's invitation and the two spend New Year's Eve together. Sloane refuses Jackson's offer to meet each other on Valentine's Day, assuming that the two may find true dates by then.
