The lemon juice detox is a type of detox which helps assist the body in the detoxification process of the body. The lemon juice detox is primarily used for detoxifying the bowels, but will also aid in detoxifying the whole body system the body works as a whole.

Benefits

There are many benefits to doing a lemon juice detox. After completing a phase of a lemon juice detox you will have more energy, your skin will improve, you will feel and look more vibrant, be less prone to illness, etc. There are many benefits to performing this type of detox periodically so that you can be renewed.

When first starting a lemon juice detox you may actually find that you are feeling very tired and may even get sick. This is completely normal and you shouldn't panic if this happens. The body is just releasing toxins faster than they can be expelled from the system and so it puts a burden on the system. However, you will find after a few days that you feel that you have more energy than you had before starting the detox. So it's important that you don't get discouraged and realize that it won't be long before you start seeing the effects of the cleanse.

Stress Level Control

It's also important to keep your stress levels as low as possible during the lemon juice detox so that your body can fully heal itself. This is the key to performing any type of detox and if you spend too much energy with the day to day tasks, then your body will prolong healing itself and detoxifying the body as efficiently as possible. This is why it is extremely important to plan ahead of time for your daily tasks and work so that you're not running around after trying to complete them. It also really helps to do some form of yoga and meditation while on the detox so that you can fully engage the body, mind, and spirit for total healing.

Also, another suggestion is not to start a lemon juice detox right away as it can be a shock to your system because of the radical shift in your lifestyle. So do a few days of eating just solid fruits and vegetables so that you get used to the idea of detoxing. Then after a few days, you can jump into the lemon juice detox and you will feel more at ease, especially if you've never done any type of detoxing or fasting before.
