If You’re Bored Of Atlantic City Casinos, Head To Canada

There are some excellent casinos around the world. And while many will look to the typical places such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City, if you ever get tired of the latter, there are always plenty more options, with one being to organise a trip to Canada. There are some stellar gaming venues in the country, and it's fair to say that they're right up there when compared to the casinos elsewhere.

Casino de Charlevoix

If you’re in or heading to Quebec City, a venue that’s worth bearing in mind is the Casino de Charlevoix, which is about 150km east. The great news is that on the way there, a travelling party can get in the mood for what’s to come at this exquisite venue by getting acquainted with online slot machines, which offer similar themes and gameplay. At the Casino de Charlevoix, which is a smaller casino than others that will feature on this list, are hundreds of slot games and tons of table game action to enjoy.

Casino Niagara

Sometimes what you’re looking for when visiting a land-based casino is an experience, and potentially one that is unique in comparison to others available elsewhere. Well, is there anything more iconic than a casino where the Niagara Falls are in view? We’re not sure any other casino on the planet offers an experience like this. And, it’s not all about the view at Casino Niagara in Ontario, as there are over 1,000 slot machines on-site and a further 50 gaming tables.

River Rock Casino Resort

What casinos have become over time, especially in places such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City, are resorts rather than just gaming venues. So, it means that visitors have everything they need on-site. The River Rock Casino Resort in British Columbia takes up this mantle in Canada and, in its province, is the largest around. So, as well as there being over 1,000 slot machines and table games available to play 24/7. There are also near 400 rooms, with suites, and a whole lot more.

Caesars Windsor

We’re heading back to Ontario, and this time it’s to check out Caesars Windsor, which again is ideally placed as it's on the Detroit River. So the views on offer, especially of the city, are something else. Caesars Windsor is also a land-based gaming venue with a rich history, as it was involved in casino gambling becoming legal in the area. Again, Caesars Windsor is more of a resort, with all the gaming you can wish for, alongside rooms, suites, restaurants, cafes, pools and spas. It’s also a venue where high rollers will feel right at home.

Canada certainly holds its own on the casino front, and you could also argue that the venues in the country provide some of the most iconic views. How many casinos have Niagara Falls visible out of the window, for example? Not many at all. It's certainly one of many reasons why taking a trip to Canada for some gaming fun should always be an option.
