How To Know If Someone Unfriended You On Snapchat - 3 Easy Steps

Why do people get rid of their Snapchat friends? They want to keep only those with whom they can keep their so-called score also known as strikes, the fires you see next to your friends' profiles, which show how many consecutive days you've snapped. This means that if you don't send Snapchats to your friends and family every day, there's no point in keeping them around. Snapchat is mostly used for that these days, and not for real communication with friends and family.

In addition to the fact that they may have cut you off because they didn't want to see your snaps or because they didn't like you enough to want to see your snaps.

Does Snapchat Tell If You Unfriend?

Like Facebook or Instagram, Snapchat doesn't sell you out to the person you unfriended as it does with Facebook or Instagram. When they start looking around or send you a Snap, they won't know for sure what happened to them until they start looking or send you a Snap. Snapchat keeps the whole thing relatively private. So much so that if you're not looking, you might miss it.
So, how will you know if your Snapchat friend unfriended you?

Unable To See The Scores

Did you go to his or her Snapchat profile and you couldn't see their points or scores there? It means you don't follow each other. That means that person has stopped following you.
A snap score is a number that shows how often a person uses Snapchat. Higher scores mean more people are using it. Only your friends can see your snap score. This also means that if you can't see someone's snap score, they've removed you as a friend or even blocked you from seeing their snap score.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
  • Open Snapchat and then tap the top-right search icon.
  • Look for the friend you want to check on. To open their profile, tap their bitmoji.
  • You're fine if you can see the snap score. Otherwise, you've been either blocked or unfriended.

Go To Chat Window

Any snaps you sent will be pending until they add you back if you've been unfriended or blocked. In these cases, you can try sending the person a snap to see if they've blocked you or removed you as a friend.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
  • Tap the speech bubble icon at the bottom of the screen, to the left of the capture tab.
  • If they don't appear in your chat history, or you still remain pending, it's a sign that they've blocked you.

Search The Username Or Fullname

If they unfriend you, you should still be able to search for them.
Make sure you know the difference between being blocked and having a Snapchat account taken away so you don't make the same mistake. It would be hard to find their account if they had blocked you. You would also be unable to get in touch with them from your blocked account.
It doesn't matter if someone removes you from their Friends list. You'll still see them in your Friends list, and you can send them snaps. They may not get them, though, if they only let their friends use Snapchat to get in touch with them.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
  • Tap the magnifying glass icon at the top of the screen to access the Search function on the conversations or snap tabs.
  • Begin typing the username or full name of the user whose information you want to look up.

In Summary

It is difficult to tell if your Snapchat friends have unfriended or deleted you. However, following the steps mentioned above will assist you.
