Blackpink was the first K-pop band to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday night. The girl group, which is made up of Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé, made their debut in 2016 with the songs "Whistle" and "Boombayah." They had been practicing their skills for several years in a traditional K-pop trainee program.
The ladies showed up in style for their headlining set. They wore sparkly black and pink outfits and performed in front of what looked like a large temple. "Black Venom," a hit from their most recent album "Born Pink," was the first song they played."
