Celine Dion Snubbed From Rolling Stone’s 200 Greatest Singers List

The American magazine Rolling Stone just put out a list of "The 200 Greatest Singers of All Time," and Celine Dion wasn't on it. Her fans are not happy about this.
The late "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin is at the top of the list, which was made through a "complex voting process that included input from well-known musicians," according to a report from the magazine that came out on Sunday, January 1.
Fans of the singer of "All By Myself" and "My Heart Will Go On" then expressed their sadness on Twitter. But even people who didn't really like the Canadian-born chanteuse questioned why she was on the list and how some of the artists were ranked.
Since Rolling Stone's "200 Greatest Singers of All Time" list came out, where Celine Dion was surprisingly not included, she has been talked about a lot online. The international magazine took down the list, which had become popular, on Sunday, January 1. Rolling Stone said:
Before you start scrolling (and commenting), keep in mind that this is the Greatest Singers list, not the Greatest Voices List.- Rolling Stone
The magazine said that the list includes 100 years of pop music as an ongoing global conversation and that it took into account the singers' originality, influence, the depth of an artist's catalog, and the breadth of their musical legacy.
In every case, what mattered most to us was how unique and influential an artist was, as well as how deep and wide their musical legacy was.- Rolling Stone
Fans and supporters of the Canadian singer questioned and complained about the list. Many of them said that it wouldn't have been complete without Celine Dion. Someone on Twitter said, "Leaving her off your Top 200 Greatest Singers of All Time list has to be an honest and regrettable mistake because doing it intentionally would be criminal."
"It's crazy to say that Celine Dion isn't one of the best singers of all time,"said someone else.
One Internet user, on the other hand, said that what Rolling Stone did was "a crime against humanity."
“Celine Dion has been singing insane vocals for decades. Don’t discredit the queen,”one fan said.
To Love You More (1993), It's All Coming Back to Me Now (1996), All By Myself (1996), and My Heart Will Go On (1996) are some of Dion's biggest hits (1997).
Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Sam Cooke, Billie Holiday, Mariah Carey, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Otis Redding, and Al Green are all in Rolling Stone's top ten.
The magazine started the new year by updating its list of the best singers in pop music, which it had been doing since 2008. This time, big names like Celine Dion, Pink, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Janet Jackson, Tony Bennett, Madonna, Nat King Cole, Dionne Warwick, and many more are not on the list.
Among the people who were left out were lead singers whose singing bandmates were left out. Stevie Nicks made it without Fleetwood Mac, Jungkook from BTS, Beyoncé without the other members of Destiny's Child, Diana Ross without the Supremes, Ozzy Osbourne without Black Sabbath, and Mick Jagger without the Rolling Stones.
Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and Sam Cooke topped Rolling Stone's list, which was mostly made up of soul and R&B music.

Rolling Stone's list of the "200 Greatest Singers of All Time" did not include Celine Dion. Her fans are upset that the five-time Grammy Award winner was left off the list. Some of the singers on the list, which came out on January 1, are Aretha Franklin, Taylor Swift, Rosalia, Ozzy Osbourne, and Beyoncé.
In response to the list, many fans of Canadian singer Celine Dion, who is 54 years old and has sold more than 250 million albums worldwide, tweeted that they couldn't believe she wasn't on it.
