The Senate passed last night, in a 69-30 vote, a continuing resolution to fund the federal government’s operations through Dec. 3. Included in the CR is an additional $23 million for the Interior Department’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management to conduct more oil rig inspection in the Gulf of Mexico. The House passed the resolution late last night at well. The funding increase is fully offset.
