Guess what, everybody? There’s no need to hold tonight’s debate, because the McCain campaign informs us that the GOP presidential nominee already won! You cannot make this stuff up. From The Fix:

“„“McCain Wins Debate!” declares the ad which features a headshot of a smiling McCain with an American flag background. Another ad spotted by our eagle-eyed observer featured a quote from McCain campaign manager Rick Davis declaring: “McCain won the debate– hands down.”
This just in — McCain has graciously agreed to resume his campaign and appear at the debatetonight, just for good measure.
