Democratic candidate Martha Coakley’s Senate campaign in Massachusetts has given up every news cycle this week to a self-inflicted blunder — a fact the National Republican Senatorial Committee happily pointed out to reporters on Friday. But the liberal BlueMassGroup bloghas found a video that reflects rather poorly on GOP candidate Scott Brown, in which he joshes with a TV reporter, in 2008, about whether Barack Obama was born out of wedlock.
It’s a fairly unappealing look at Brown before he retooled from a GOP stalwart to a straight-talking “people’s” candidate.
