The McCain campaign veteran who was a merciless and effective critic of Democrats at The Weekly Standard’s blog is leaving the magazine.
“After seven really wonderful years at THE WEEKLY STANDARD,” Goldfarb wrote in an email to friends, “today is my last day. Next week I’ll be joining Orion Strategies here in Washington.”
Orion Strategies last made the newswhen McCain adviser Randy Scheunemann was attacked for his work with the firm, which he founded, on behalf of nations like Georgia. Goldfarb acknowledged the connection in his email: “I guess we’re all Georgians now!”
