In 2010, Palin will have completed her transition from struggling governor of an obscure state to full-time conservative pundit and activist, whose every tweeted and Facebooked word will be pulled apart by an obsessive political press corps. While Republican candidates in New Jersey and Virginia shied away from Palin endorsements, the midterm elections promise plenty of races in states or districts where the McCain-Palin ticket defeated Obama-Biden. Palin will be able — if she so desires — to finally answer the deluge of campaign invitations and hold mega-rallies in “real America.” If Republicans have a good year, she can indisputably take credit for the first time for providing a net positive to national Republicans.
