Republicans Loving the ‘Un-American’ Spin

The first line of a press release from the National Republican Congressional Committee this morning, the first such release since Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) called town hall disruptions “un-American.”
Republicans are not at all unhappy with the Pelosi/Hoyer column, which they view as a message blunder that makes town hall activists seem more sympathetic.
