The Minnesota Independent, our sister site, just put up an enlightening series of interviewswith conservative Minneapolis residents protesting the Democrats’ plans to overhaul the nation’s health care system this year. The small group stormed the Minneapolis office of Rep. Keith Ellison (D) yesterday urging that he vote against the legislation.
The whole video is worth a look, but among the highlights are the claims that (1) Washington doesn’t need to take steps to get coverage for the 45 million uninsured Americans because they can already get insurance for $6 a month, (2) the uninsured are not a problem because they can get care in emergency rooms, and (3) the 45 million number is “a false figure” because it includes illegal aliens.
