Earlier today I talked to Jill Stanek, an anti-abortion rights activist who hounded Barack Obama over his vote againstIllinois’s Born Alive Infant Protection Act, about the possibility of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin stepping out as a pro-life advocateafter she leaves the governor’s office.
“It would be exciting if Sarah Palin were to decide to expend her energy promoting the sanctity of life as well as the abstinence message,” said Stanek. “Palin is sound on the pro-life issue, even opposing killing the other innocent victim if pregnancy results from the crime of rape/incest — the baby. She would be an articulate, savvy spokesperson, likely the most prominent we’ve ever had next to President Reagan.”
