Getting Used to It

Jul 31, 202015.4K Shares595.5K Views
Karl Rove has a mildly interesting Wall Street Journal columnabout the new rules for winning the Republican nomination, and some old rules that still apply.
But the most interesting bit was the very last line. Rove, the architect of President Bush’s campaigns, seems to be adjusting to the idea that John McCain, his old primary opponent, will be the Republican nominee.
We can be sure of one thing: The candidates who emerge victorious, while they may be imperfect, have admirable grit and gumption. And that should matter for something.
Give him some time to get enthusiastic.
