The Obama camp has said Clinton’s ringing phone ad is like something from Karl Rove’s playbook.
Now the Clinton camp says the latest volley from the Obama campaign — pressing for Clinton to release her tax returns — is like something Whitewater investigator Ken Starr would pull.
As Howard Wolfson, Clinton’s communications director, put it to reporters on a conference call: "I for one do not belive that imitating Ken Starr is the way to win a Democratic primary election for president."
