Fallon said he’s not sure if people will be willing to camp out in the Iowa cold around the Jan. 3 caucus date, but he’s willing to.
The idea was floated during a general assembly meeting of Occupy Des Moines on Monday, and quickly picked up on by national media.
The group has been occupying grounds at the Capitol and then a park near it for nearly a month, and has staged several demonstrations. On Saturday morning they will march from downtown Des Moines to nearby Wells Fargo and Bank of America locations as part of “National Bank Transfer Day.”
