Court records, according to a news report from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, indicate that a lien has been filed against former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorumfor roughly $500 in delinquent property taxes on his Penn Hills home.

The report notes that Santorum is expected to formally announce his presidential bid on June 6, and that the campaign has not responded to requests for comment.
Earlier this week Santorum headlined a Lincoln Day dinner event for the Republican Party of Sarasota (Florida), and today he is serving on a panel in Washington, D.C. to discuss how Christian churches can help promote democracy in Latin America. The latter being a project of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, a conservative think-tank with which Santorum is affiliated. He returns to New Hampshire on Tuesday to host a Young Republican fundraiser, and will be back in Washington on Friday, June 3, as one of several 2012 candidates attending a Faith & Freedom Conference and strategy briefing.
