By | 08.02.10 | 12:00 am

The traditional fundraising bulwark for the GOP, the Republican National Committee is having a bad year, to say the least. Chairman Michael Steele has managed to get himself noticed for almost everything except his fundraising prowess, from his questioning of the U.S. commitment in Afghanistan to his promising an “off More…

By | 06.21.10 | 1:59 pm

Democrats and Republicans can each claim some victories in last month’s fundraising race — the Democrats’ national and Senate campaign committees outraised their Republican counterparts in May, while the GOP’s House committee bested the Democrats’.

Politico reports that the DNC raised $6.6 million — about $150,000 more than the RNC. More…

The RNC, Ending the Week as It Began It

By | 04.02.10 | 5:53 pm

Lindsay Beyerstein, operating on the principle that an expense-approval system slapdash enough to miss an expense for Voyeur West Hollywood, finds extremely strange expense reports filed by RNC staffers under the heading of “meals” and “office supplies. I asked for a comment from the RNC early in the day More…

The new American Crossroads organization will be run by former RNC

Jonathan Martin has the first look at an email going out to Family Research Council supporters in which Tony Perkins tells conservatives to close their wallets to the RNC.

I’ve hinted at this before, but now I am saying it-don’t give money to the RNC. If you want to

Yesterday I listed the year’s upcoming Young Eagles RNC fundraisers and wondered what their fate would be. Today we get an answer:

By | 03.30.10 | 12:19 pm

My colleague Rachel Hartman reminds me that the Young Eagles’ plans for 2010 were spelled out in the infamous RNC fundraising memo obtained this month (yes, two RNC finance scandals in one month) by Ben Smith. Here, after the jump, is a rundown of the upcoming Young Eagles events, More…
