Environmentalists Hope to Reach Obama in Martha’s Vineyard

The Natural Resources Defense Council took out a two-page advertisement in a local newspaper in Martha’s Vineyard, where President Obama arrived today for a 10-day vacation, pleading with the president to combat attempts to block the administration from regulating greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act.

Environmental Groups Go After Rockefeller Over EPA Bill

Earlier today, Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) introduced legislation to block the EPA from using the Clean Air Act to regulate greenhouse emissions from stationary sources (ie, coal-fired electric plants) for two years.
