Points for chutzpah! McCain’s campaign is run by a Freddie Mac lobbyist whose company got paid $15,000 to do nothing but have the guy hang around John McCain. The Washington Post even ran a frontpage piece in February detailing all of McCain’s ties to lobbyists. (Charlie Black! Mark McKinnon! Steve Schmidt!) You can see why the McCain people want this election to be about violent hippies. (Oh, sorry, “terrorists.”)
