Demonstrators Plant 10,000 Flags on National Mall to Protest Oil Addiction

Earlier today, demonstrators led by the Sierra Club planted 10,000 flags on the National Mall in Washington to spell out the words “freedom from oil.” Speakers highlighted the need to move away from a reliance on oil in the wake of the BP spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Video after the jump:
