Sen. Lisa Murkowski, despite her write-in campaign to keep her Senate seat, will lose her spot as the ranking Republican on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. The Hill reports:
Senate Republicans will strip Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) of the top Republican slot on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
Republican members of the committee will meet to formally decide who will replace Murkowski as the ranking Republican of that powerful panel. ?
The question now is this: who will replace Murkowski? More to come as thing unfold.

Well, I don't think it'll be Miller, at any rate. In a way, I'm surprised that the GOP thinks a bunch of newbies and political neophytes is going to do them much good. Loony fringe as they are, they won't even be easy to manipulate, should they win.
