Where’s Haynes?

Notice who’s not testified so far: the star witness, ex-Pentagon General Counsel William Haynes. According to a spokeswoman for Levin, Tara Andringa, Haynes is due up at a third (sigh) panel, in which he’ll testify solo. Smart move on his part: everyone’s going to be exhausted and most press will be hungry and everyone’s blood sugar will be low. If I wanted to evade Congress, this is exactly how I’d do it.
