Quote Of The Day II

Haynes is getting pissy about Graham’s description of the 2005 Schmidt-Furlow report into Guantanamo Bay, which uncovered detainees being stripped nude and dogs were brought into an interrogation. In particular, Graham pointed out that Rumsfeld approved the technique of “removal of clothing.” Haynes took exception.

“It was widely understood,” Haynes said with barely-contained anger, “by knowledgeable people, that removal of clothing is not nudity.”

Oh yeah, and Haynes said he doesn’t know why the list of approved techniques bears such a close resemblance to what goes on in SERE schools. Quelle coincidence!

Of course it’s not nudity – it’s torture.
