The Full Legislative Text of Reid’s Energy Bill

Here’s the bill text of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) energy and oil spill response bill. The Clean Energy Jobs and Oil Company Accountability Act of 2010, as it is known, would increase the per-barrel fee on the Oil Spill Liability Trust Fund from 8 cents to 45 cents. This increase will cover the expected $15 billion cost of the bill, a Senate aide said yesterday, though the actual increase in the fee was not determined until late last night.
