Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will delay the release of his energy legislation until tomorrow in order to give the Congressional Budget Office more time to review the bill.

According to Jim Manley, Reid’s spokesperson:

The Congressional Budget Office needs an additional day to review the targeted oil spill response and energy jobs plan that Senator Reid announced last week.  Tomorrow afternoon, we expect to release the text of this plan to create green jobs, hold BP accountable, protect our environment and invest in clean vehicles that reduce oil consumption.  In addition, professional staff from the relevant committees will hold a briefing for interested reporters after the text is released tomorrow.
