Speaking at a town hall meeting on Capitol Hill organized by the National Resources Defense Fund today, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), arguably the Senate’s lead proponent of climate action, acknowledged that time is running out for energy and climate legislation this year. But he promised the audience: “This is not going to die.” (Hours later, the details of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s energy bill came out — and they weren’t exactly in line with Kerry’s goals.)
