It cheapens the experience McCain supposedly endured in North Vietnam -- and I say "supposedly" because, frankly, methinks the campaign doth protest too much. Where I accepted, unqualifiedly, McCain's record and heroism as a POW before this campaign, the more I hear it thrown in to discussions merely to deflect criticism for something the Senator did or did not do, the more I'm beginning to wonder.<br><br>Short message to mcCain: cut it out! leave the POW story to stand for itself and only when it fits in to what you're talking about.
