I walked away with the impression that Juan McCain is ready, willing (and might be able if elected) to continue the policies of the Bush/Cheney regime regarding war and the spread of democracy. Obama, on the other hand, wants a different approach diplomacy. Obama also wants to mend America's reputation - McCain doesn't seem to care about that. No matter how McCain did in this debate - his actions last week lead me to believe that he is not a competent individual to hold the office of President.

Most of the times Obama agreed with McCain, the Democrat added a but and criticized McCain.
Here's one example of Obama agreeing with McCain: "John mentioned the fact that business taxes on paper are high in this country, and he's absolutely right. Here's the problem: There are so many loopholes that have been written into the tax code, oftentimes with support of Senator McCain, that we actually see our businesses pay effectively one of the lowest tax rates in the world."
And on McCain's temperment:
"John, I -- you're absolutely right that presidents have to be prudent in what they say. But, you know, coming from you, who, you know, in the past has threatened extinction for North Korea and, you know, sung songs about bombing Iran, I don't know, you know, how credible that is. "

Forget about Time Bomb McCain. What about the Methane Time Bomb that has begun it's release beneath the Arctic Sea off of the coast of Russia? All other national and world issues pale in comparison.

ref. latest research findings of the past two weeks by scientists on an expedition along the entire northern coast of Russia (scientists of the University of Stockholm). See: Dec 15th, 2004 article by John Atcheson published in the Baltimore Sun, titled: 'Methane Burps: Ticking Time Bomb.'

Obviously McCain employs the same quality of campaign people as did H Clinton. Born losers who bully, lie and try anything with the media and the voters. America can't afford such people. Thankfully for America and the rest of the world a new day is coming in America. Senator soon to be President Barack Obama has the temperament and the mind to be an effective President. He will make a refreshing change. The best people surround themselves with first class people. Second grade people like McCain attract third grade people like Schmidt. They certainly deserve each other.
Best Wishes from Australia
