Could you feel the love? That’s what we certainly felt when Sen. John McCain in Riverside spoke about the return of the one-time nemesis of the Republican Party, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, to the auspices of the U.S. Senate. After calling her a hard worker and someone he worked well with on national-security issues, McCain said: "I think that if I had to guess that the fact that she ran an honorable and incredibly long and dedicated campaign for the nomination of her party would indicate to me that she will return to the United States Senate with enhanced prestige."

Where was Peter Cetera when you needed him. Wait, no one ever needed Peter Cetera — though, for the record, I asked a girl Missy to "go out with me" during his "Karate Kid II" anthem, "Glory of Love," during a sixth-grade dance. For the record, she politely declined.

Yes, Senator Clinton ran an honorable campaign and I even voted for her in the Democratic primary in Ohio but I will not be voting Democratic in the general election in November. I most definately will be voting for Senator John McCain and hopefully Rice or Powell as his running mate.
