McCain is an idiot. 300 million for batteries huh? Has he ever heard of the fuel cell? Sometimes physics actually is the limiting factor in a given technology. Like the modern microprocessor many believe batteries will, if not already have, reached a technological limitation with the laws of physics in the way. I think its time to pursue some alternate technologies. Fuel cells take hydrogen, the most abundant element in the universe, and turn it into electricity, with byproducts of water and oxygen. Sounds like a portable energy dream to me.
