Kyl goes “Sen. McCain recognizes that because of the emergency situation that people are in right now” Emergency? Things are not good, but this is hardly an emergency. If we were all running two cycle mopeds to work and still couldn't afford gas, that might be an emergency. Mr Kyl sound like hes a practitioner of the politics of fear. As in “I'm so afraid I might not be about to drive my three ton SUV that gets 12 miles to the gallon 30 miles to work every day; we must drill offshore!” That commercial is bullshit by the way. How many economists have to say the gas tax holiday is a bad idea before McCain will believe it? Why listen to economists though. This party ignores the science that come out of the EPA and Goddard every day. I wonder if the president even know who James Hansen is? And nuclear is just a horrible idea, Instead of CO2, CO, NOx and SOx, you just have extremely dangerous waste that we what, put in a mountain and forget about? BAD IDEA!
