ACORN Folding but Not Forgotten by Congress

ACORN might be folding, but that’s not enough to convince Sen. David Vitter that the anti-poverty group still won’t find ways to rig the next election. The Louisiana Republican has filed an amendment to the health reconciliation bill — which is moving through the Senate this week — to prohibit federal funding to ACORN.
If that sounds familiar, it’s because Vitter helped stall an unemployment insurance bill last fall with a similar ACORN amendment.
Votes on the long list of amendments filed to the reconciliation bill are expected to come later this week.

This is transparent buffoonery.
A federal court has already ruled that singling ACORN out for special punishment is unconstitutional: http://bit.ly/bC6jOK
It isn't any more legal to target ACORN now than it was then.

ACORN- So dangerous that only a prostitute-employing Senator from Louisiana can dare stand up to them.
But, at least with ACORN, the prostitutes are fake.

I can't stand David Vitter, the pious hypocrite. Years ago I told him that I'm sure he had a closet full of skeletons ,like those that always talk about legislating morality often do, lo and behold but I was right. Vitter should have resigned out of shame for hos hypocrisy but that's not the Republican way .
