House Passes Health Care Reform Bill

The count was 219 to 212, with 34 Democrats joining all Republicans in voting against the bill.
Two votes remain: One on a reconciliation bill that tweaks the Senate bill, and another on a GOP proposal to alter the reconciliation bill.

Well, the house did it. They got a republican healthcare bill through: no public option, private insurance companies stand to make a great deal of money, and no federal funding for abortion. Stupak, who didn't care about any healthcare bill, and his bishop friends got their way too. John Lewis nearly got attacked by white people. Why isn't anyone in the Republican party happy?
