Poll: More Americans Getting Behind Health Care Reform

Reconciliation has been used many times before, on important legislation. Why not now? The Congressional Budget Office has been quoted by Republicans when they were trying to pass bills through congress. Why are they questioning its facts that say that this health care bill reduces the deficit, and pays for itself?

I definitely want the Health Care Bill to pass! It will help our country even if it costs me personally a few more dollars.

It all stems from desperation because of the 2008 election. The GOP is in real trouble for the first time in a century. Their policies have failed. Miserably.
So, all that is left is what has been seen this last year. It will conceivably continue until they win a majority (unlikely) or fail totally as a party.

I am an immigrant from Mainland China. I worked my way to a full retirement and I paid for what I got today. I had no bilingual help. No welfare. I worked and I earned it. There is no reason to change that rule. America is a land of opportunity but not welfare. Those who think the US government should spend more tax payer's hard earned money to fill the need of a bottomless pit of dependency should try living in a Communist country. To rob the rich to pay the poor is a fantasy if not an excuse for a despot.

This Bill is too much government control. But tell me the benifit of having the Federal Government run anything? They have no accountability and are completely unorganized. How difficult is it to deal with the IRS? Forget that this bill is all wrong. How do you rationalize handing somthing this big to the government? Also, healthcare is available to everyone, but you have to pay for it. Why does anyone feel they don't have to pay for a good or service?
