Seriously, I'd be embarrassed to call this a protest. More people show up to elementary school kid's birthday parties.

While this particular legislation is aimed at addressing commercial fishing, the government has, in fact, mandated regulation of anglers. To wit:
http://www.thesunchronicle.com/articles/2009/11…
“The state license requirement was made necessary by a federal law approved by former President George W. Bush. The federal law mandates that states develop registries and charge for fishing. If the state fails to comply, fishermen have to pay a $20 to $30 federal fee instead.”
If this was under Obama, we'd be hearing it called a “pole registry” and people would be demanding that socialist Africans get out of their boats, I'm sure. But Obama is hardly the first to pay attention to the tragedy of the commons, and even W was aware of the pitfalls of unregulated fishing, which he saw to control in a much more direct way than this alleged Marxist plot.

Man , there must be 25- 30 people there! Why is the liberal media completely ignoring this entirely grassroots movement of the people (and a couple of small little lobbying firms, but dont pay any attention to them) .
All they want is … uh… well… uh….
EVERYONE I DISAGREE WITH IS A NAZI

More than one GOP elected official yesterday (Monday) made reference to the Ides of March.
I would say that's a nice assassination dog-whistle, except I don't really think the teabaggers would get the reference.

Pity the poor teabaggers. They just want the freedom to shout Kill all n–gers without looking like total douchebag racist. In this Marxist America the poor uneducated whites are forced to use words like Commie and Socalist. It just doesn't have the same ring to these people.
I'm not even for gun control but I would love it if a gun control measure and a law that says all tea-baggers get shipped to FEMA camps and are forced to send their children to reeducation camps with people of other races gets slipped into the health care bill just to watch their heads explode.
