‘South Park’ to Show Eric Cartman Signing, Blackwater-like, for 500 AK-47s
Tuesday, March 09, 2010 at 2:52 pm
On Feb. 23, I broke a story about how the Senate Armed Services Committee determined that Blackwater employees in Afghanistan signed for hundreds of AK-47s and pistols using the name “Eric Cartman,” evidently a reference to the popular “South Park” character.
On March 17 — which Dave Weigel tells me is the season premiere — “South Park” will show Eric Cartman signing for the guns.

How art imitates life–and life art; consider how much of our public life resembles a satire.

The only thing surprising is that Blackwater employees beat Stone and Parker to it.

This show is great, South Park has been around since 1999, we even got Stan's Father Randy who also has a big part in this show, and he’s probably the main parent since he gets the most story lines. I do think this show is still going strong, episodes get better and better as the show progresses, I hope there will be more seasons in the near future.
