Eric Massa to Rip Democrats on Glenn Beck’s Fox News Show
Monday, March 08, 2010 at 1:39 pm
Rep. Eric Massa’s (D-N.Y.) scorching attack on Democrats — while a lot of attention is going to a silly story about Rahm Emanuel, he accuses his party of trying to “shove the [health care] bill down our throats” — will be amplified tomorrow with a full-hour interview on Glenn Beck’s Fox News show.
In roughly 12 hours, Massa has changed his narrative from “congressman resigning in disgrace” to angry, Howard Beale-esque truth-teller who’d simply had enough and will take his party to the woodshed. Left unsettled: the incredibly important issue of whether he’ll resign today, as he said he would, or he’ll try to bring down the health care bill by staying in Congress.

It wouldn't surprise me that the White House would do this. After all, they don't care what the American people think is right. I hope they remember that “every dog has his day” –can't wait for November. The President is on the stump again. One thing he has failed to mention is the half trillion cut to Medicare. That's one way to get rid of opposition–kill the old people. All those supporters have mothers and fathers.

What a strange guy that Massa has turned out to be. He told his aide he wanted to “frack” him and offered to help his Navy bunkmate beat off, but denies that he had ANY problem with sexual harassment and is instead lashing out to move attention away from all that.

How dare Obama cut half a trillion in waste and abuse from Medicare and keep benefits the same!
Comment posted March 8, 2010 @ 7:36 pm
You are so naive; have you seen the Obamament cut any waste and abuse during the 14 months in power? Everything he promised has been un-promised. Watch him running this country to ground, after the Dubia ran it to half in the ground.

Of course not, they haven't done anything. But this idea that he's out to cut Medicare benefits of all things is ridiculous.

No it isn't. Benefits for millions of Medicare Advantage members will be cut. The CBO says so.

On Massa: I really wish he would stay and derail this BS healthcare legistlation.
On Health Care Reform: Doesn't it strike anyone as strange that we can magically “cut” millions in fraud and abuse, but only if we “agree” to let this crap pile pass? Why can't they cut out the fraud without the huge increase in spending?
To our governemnt; show me you can do ANYTHING right (past examples preferred), show me you can cut the fraud, then I'll consider your health care proposal. Until then, f-off.

massa's not the tie breaking vote. pelosi's over 10-15 short, so he's wrong on that count; and just ovebhlowing his importance and his pereceived railroading by hoyer et al. ask anyone who served with him, and he's a trainwreck. and probably done a lot worse than the 'politically correct' violation thats he publically been accused of. all that being said:
a) when have you ever heard of the democrats running a guy out of congress for sexual misconduct? esp homosexual misconduct – thats usually a badge of honor with them
b) he should stay
c) he should make a statement at 5pm today saying “i rescind my resignation. i will consider it again when charlie rangle resigns, as his stink is 10 times worse than mine. pelosi, frack me”

Medicare Advantage is privately managed with regulated benefits. There is a minimum of benefits everyone receives under the plans. There is no change in that. Cuts in extra benefits one receives from a private insurance plan is not the responsibility of the government. As long as everyone is one the same level to begin with, extra benefits that someone pays for is up to them. And $116 billion in Medicare Advantage cuts is certainly not $500 billion.

Stay and fight the health care bill, Massa. Heck, change parties if it makes you feel better about the drubbing you're taking from Emmanuelle and company. To leave and let it be shoved down our throats is a win for those who castigate you.

Or not. It's not like no one ever died before 2003 when it was enacted. And no bill ends the program, just makes cuts to it.Take your overly-dramatic self and do something useful.

If Massa is gonna “take his party to the woodshed” then they should all be very very worried about what's he's gonna do to them once he's alone with them. What a freak that guy is.

Massa “rips into” democrats?
It looked more like an hour long discourse in the dangers of publicly revealing a colossal case of mid-life crisis (among other things) to me.
Beck's futile search for dirt on “corruption” (I didn't count how many times he said the word, but it was a lot) was the capper to so fine a comedic bit of TV. The frustration on his face was priceless!

So I was watching this show…Glenn Bleck was desperately trying to get some evidence of “corruption” off of that nutcase Eric Massa but what ensued was an hour long trainwreck. What an embarrassing fiasco for everyone involved. Beck thought he was going to open up a nice present and instead got box of hot stinking turd.
Couldn't happen to two nicer guys.
