Rep. Eric Massa (D-N.Y.), the disgraced resigning congressman, is going down swinging and taking the news cycle with him. His weekly radio show — and, likely, any media he does today — is a festival of criticism of the White House, specifically of Rahm Emanuel.
When I voted against the cap and trade bill, the phone rang and it was the chief of staff to the president of the United States of America, Rahm Emanuel, and he started swearing at me in terms and words that I hadn’t heard since that crossing the line ceremony on the USS New Jersey in 1983. And I gave it right back to him, in terms and words that I know are physically impossible. If Rahm Emanuel wants to come after me, maybe he ought to hold himself to the same standards I’m holding myself to and he should resign.
Massa has also explained just what he’s resigning over.

To bad for Obama he could have had a great presidency. Rahm “No Public Option” Emanuel made him too moderate. Sorry thats not what I was voting for or 30,000,000 others, I feel sooooo let down.

Did Massa tell Rahm to go Cheney himself? Awesome. Now, if only it wasn't a “disgraced resigning” Representative that was doing it…

Emanuel works for the President. Somehow, I don't think he would continue in that capacity if he was doing something Obama didn't want or agree with. Rahm is more symptomatic of the problem, rather than the problem itself.

I totally believe this man, its about time someone started speaking out on what emanuel does and gets away with, the chicago crooked politics, everyone was always bashing Karl Rove, what a joke that is, Rove does not even come close, if people would speak out and tell the truth, emanuel would be gone, the arrogance of this man and obama also, beleive me obama knows exactly what he is doing, we all know emanuel, axelrod and the rest of the gang are propping up obama, they wanted him in , knew they could control him and prop him up and that is exactly what is going on, with all his teleprompters , they write what they want him to say. talk about a corrupt administration. Imagine if this was a republican congressman going on like this, the press and media would be going ballistic! what a double standard
