In the wake of his somewhat surprising — and very soft-peddled — victory in the CPAC straw poll, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) is gearing up for a big showing at the next GOP cattle call. Paul’s Campaign for Liberty is going to purchase hundreds of tickets for the event, held next month in New Orleans.
If a CPAC-sized contingent of Paul fans show up, would it be enough to win the event’s straw poll? Well, in 2006, Sen. Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) won the straw poll with a 36.9 percent plurality — of only 1,427 ballots.

Writing as a Ron Paul supporter, a member of campaign for liberty, and having attended CPAC and other related events I can attest that this email is patently a fake.
Emails are never sent for your eyes only and would never end every sentence with an exclamation point! Plus the syntax is not correct, and Dr. Paul's organization does not operate this way, period.
Adult beverages..woo hoo!!!!

How about learning something about the man or examining his voting record? You'll soon understand that ballot stuffing is not necessary. Freedom is popular. Liberty is hot.

This article is a big fat LIE. Dr. Paul has never bought votes, nor has he ever had to do so to gain support. I suspect some ignorant RINO came up with this to discredit the good doctor and his supporters. The fact is, Dr. Paul has a strong, active, and growing group of bright, young patriots standing up for him. I'm not surprised the old guard neo-cons find that so very frightening. As Dr. Paul says, “Freedom IS popular!”

I am on every Ron Paul and C4L mailing list there is … this letter has never been sent out. No Ron Paul supporter would ever use the works “For your eyes only” … we are so against secrecy that I can't believe anyone would take this seriously.
