Tea Parties to RNC: Hey, Nice Pander
Thursday, March 04, 2010 at 6:43 pm
Benjy Sarlin talks to Tea Party leaders — the type of people who were supposed to be the targets of RNC fundraising appeals discussed in a leaked 72-page document on how to bring in more cash — and finds a lot of irritation. Judson Phillips of Tea Party Nation gets at the heart of it:
They freaking don’t get it. Our motives are patriotic. Can they be any more insulting? I guess they could have called us teabaggers, but Holy Cow, I’m so blown away by the whole thing I’m just sitting here stunned.

It's time to ship the tea baggers and their leaders to Canada, anyway. That way, the rest of us can stop threatening to move there:

Uh … Canada does not want them, we have Canadians to look after.
It's not an open wilderness that you can walk into with your collection of guns. Our immigration policy is to select the best of the applicants and we look for education, job skills and existing family connections to our country.
Sorry if I'm coming across as rude but it's tiresome to hear this “move to Canada” talk coming from people who just aren't good enough for us. We have standards.
